Architecture + Interior Design
CDC Design Studio is the practice of Carmela Dela Cruz, a licensed Filipino, UK-based architect dedicated to thoughtful, considered spaces that respond to their context, culture, and the people within them.

A distinguished hotel in Siargao defined by its landscape character, with a pavilion crafted in synthetic bamboo and a considered approach to privacy and site ecology.

A 15-storey mixed-use development combining high-end residential apartments, the Wee Community Developers corporate office, and ground-floor commercial spaces.

A three-bedroom family residence in Sta. Maria, Bulacan — a deeply personal project designed for the architect's retired parents, shaped by the site's flood conditions and a close attention to natural light.
Studio Philosophy
“Every space marks the beginning of a new chapter.”
— CDC Design Studio
Every project begins with listening — to the vision, the brief, and the stories of those who will inhabit the space. From private residences in Bulacan to hospitality developments in Siargao and high-rises in Mactan, CDC Design Studio brings consistent rigour and material sensitivity to every scale.
The studio draws from the Filipino vernacular — open-plan living, natural materials, responsive ventilation — while maintaining a forward-looking design language shaped by international practice at Casas + Architects and Arcadis Philippines.
